Tiptop II Reviews

Comments and recommendations received on this Galapagos cruise:

Julia,

We had the most amazing vacation of our lives and I just wanted to thank several people and express our deep appreciation. My daughter is a Peace Corps volunteer in Ecuador and I wanted to visit her and take a once-in-a-lifetime trip to the Galapagos Islands, but was rather clueless as to where to start.

First of all, Julia Haessler from Columbus Travel was thorough and professional in answering my questions, emails and addressing concerns. Thanks to her professionalism and thoroughness, I felt very comfortable that we had gotten an excellent deal. The gentleman who picked us up from the hotel (unfortunately I forget his name) was wonderful---he got us to the airport and made sure we had everything we needed. I cannot say enough good things about the M/Y TipTop II.

We were met at the airport by our naturalist guide, Mauricio Garcia, who was amazing. In addition to having tremendous knowledge, energy and enthusiasm he made sure everyone's needs were met---dietary, activity levels, a debriefing at the end of the day, photo opportunities and much, much more. On the final day he gave everyone a DVD of the best compilation of everyone's pictures of the trip....where he got the time and energy I do not know.

The food was fantastic, snorkeling other-worldly, birding incredible, hikes instructive,,,all in all, amazing. Every crew member on the boat was helpful and positive; the captain was personable as well as competent. I cannot recommend Columbus Travel and TipTop II highly enough, we are deeply appreciative for this once-in-a-lifetime vacation.

I just got home from a different trip. The trip to Galapagos was amazing. I would definitely recommend Tip Top II and Hotel Rabida. I was very happy with both.

Thank you for all of your assistance booking the trip. It was a wonderful trip.
