Alternative Ships to the Galapagos Santa Cruz II
One major limitation of the Santa Cruz 2 is that it only offers 5 or 6-day itineraries, so if you want a longer or shorter cruise, you may want to choose one of these options. The Eclipse offers both 6 and 8-day cruises on a ship that carries only 48 passengers for a roomier, more luxurious experience. If you're concerned about budget, consider both the Isabela II or the even more affordable Galapagos Legend which offers some cheaper cabin options but still with an excellent level of service.
How to Check Availability and Reserve the Santa Cruz 2
Fill out the "Check Availability" form at the top of this page and one of our expert Galapagos Trip Advisors will then help you arrange the perfect vacation considering factors like what activities and islands interest you, your timeline, and your budget.
While you make your final decision on which one is perfect for you, we can put a hold on your top picks. Once you've made your final decision, you can confirm your spot by making a initial deposit. The next step is booking the flights... we'll take care of reserving the flight from mainland Ecuador to Galapagos, and we can also help you find some great deals on your flight from home to Quito or Guayaquil if you don't want to arrange it on your own.
A popular and very recommendable trip extension is spending a few extra days in Ecuador exploring the Amazon rainforest or the volcano-scape of the Ecuadorian Andes. We can coordinate all your transportation and reservations for an Amazon lodge or at a hotel in Ecuador's historic capital city of Quito. From Quito, you can experience great day trips, like a visit to the indigenous market of Otavalo.
We recommend that you book the Santa Cruz 2 well in advance. If you're planning on traveling during the high season, like summer or between Christmas and New Years spots can fill up months in advance.
